Palate

Very concentrated and fat in attack, it is a wine that has both a lot of charm and a very important potential. Its purpose is very fine. The molten tannins testify to superb maturity. This wine can be drunk or expected from 1 to 10 years.

Growing Conditions

Planted on siliceous clay soil. Planted between 1950 and 1984, the vines are managed in controlled natural grass. The harvest is decided on a day-to-day basis following the tasting of the seeds in order to have the best possible maturity.

Aging

12 to 36 months at 12°C in an air-conditioned cellar. Powerful and elegant, this wine usually takes a few years to reach its aromatic fullness.

Appearance

A very intense color.

Food Pairing

To be decanted preferably in a carafe in a temperate place several hours before the meal. To be enjoyed on red meats, large game and cheeses.
