Growing Conditions
Château Corbin lies beyond the vines of Pomerol and at the entrance to Saint-Émilion. There, this Classified Great Growth watches over 12.31 hectares of Merlot (92%) and Cabernet Franc (8%) vines, which are deeply rooted in clay- and sand-influenced soil. Aged by 33 years on average, the vineyard is cultivated in the simplest way, notably through manual harvests.
Winemaking
After manual harvests in small crates, the grapes are taken to the cellar to begin the winemaking process. Vatting occurs in small-capacity, thermoregulated raw cement vats for 10 to 16 days, with pumping over.
